My drawings are like field notes, I pull from the traditions of scientific illustration and data visualization. I mix mechanical and manual techniques to work though my ideas surrounding the concepts of the reliable image and direct observation. I am particularly interested in how visual artifacts, hallucinations, and skewed perspectives, can alter notions of the real. I have been working in this style since 2015, themes are climate change and complexity.
